South Knights 2nd Annual Coaching Clinic
I just wanted to let everyone know that the South Knights 2nd annual coaching clinic will be held Friday night Feb 7 and Saturday Feb 8 in Lethbridge. The clinic will have something for everyone from Atom to Bantam and beyond.
There will also be a "safe contact" and "community coach" course during the clinic. These courses must be taken by all returning coaches that have not already taken it. New coaches are also recommended to have these courses. They only need to be taken once and there is some online content that goes along with the courses that need to be taken before the course. You will need to register at www.coach.ca to take the online part.
Please pass this on to all coaches from Atom to Bantam. A rep from Football Alberta will be doing certification checks this up coming season so please make sure all coaches in your staff have it to avoid any issues.
More information about the clinic will come out later as the venue and speakers get locked down. If you would like to become a speaker please email me and I can give you more details.
